Typical Application:
SKD7 mold steel is suitable for long-term operation at high temperatures, has excellent cutting performance and polishing performance, and has a quenching temperature of 1020°C. It is the best material for making large and medium-sized aluminum alloy die-casting molds..
Heat Treatment:
Preheating temperature 790℃, quenching temperature 1010℃ (salt bath) or 1020℃ (furnace controlled atmosphere), air cooling quenching, tempering temperature 550℃, hardness 60HRC.
